Chennai, June 1 (UNI) Saluting the Indian Armed forces by hailing Operation Sindoor as

a watershed moment in India’s journey, Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi on Sunday said

it heralded a new era in the country’s national security.

This operation will enable Gen Next to study it as a a major shift as to how India asserted

itself on the global stage, he said, in his address at an event organised by the Chennai

Citizens Forum (CCF) titled ‘From Battlefield to Diplomacy: Operation Sindoor Decoded’.

Mr. Ravi also hailed Indian scientists and technologists for developing indigenous advanced

sensor systems that were used in the operation, signifying India's advancement in R and D.

Noting that there has been a major shift in India's approach since Prime Minister Narendra

Modi assumed office in 2014, the Governor listed several cross-border terror attacks since

Independence and on how the Indian political leadership responded to them.
