Political literature conference to be held in Saswad, pune on Oct 1

Pune, Sep 27 (UNI) The 10th edition of the Nandi Sahitya Sammelan will be held as a political literature conference at Acharya Atre Cultural Bhavan in Saswad, Pune district, on October 1.
The conference is being organised jointly by Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Pune, Samarth Yuva Foundation, Acharya Atre Vikas Pratishthan, Purandar, and the Saswad, Sopan Nagar and Jejuri branches of Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad.
Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Legislative Council member Dr Neelam Gorhe will preside over the conference.
The inaugural session will begin at 10.30 am, following the commencement of the programme at 10 am.
Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Pune president Yogesh Soman and Samarth Seva Foundation president Rajesh Pandey will inaugurate the conference. Former Zilla Parishad president Vijay Kolte will be present as the welcome president.
The conference will feature lectures and panel discussions on topics including political literature, political personalities in literature, and political literature and ideology. The sessions will examine the relationship between political experiences, social change and literary expression.
Purandar-Haveli MLA Vijaybapu Shivtare, former MLA Sanjay Jagtap and Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Pune secretary Sunil Mahajan are among the chief guests.
Madhukar Bhave, Madhav Bhandari, Prof Narayan Tank, Dr Nana Pawar and Prof Dr Jagdish Shevate will also participate in the conference. The concluding session will feature F.M. Shinde, Raosaheb Pawar, Rajan Lakhe, Dr Purushottam Kale and Prabhakar Avhal.
A theatrical presentation titled 'Satyashodhak Mahatma' will be staged by Samvad Pune at the end of the conference.
Dr Nana Saheb Pawar, Dr Narayan Tank and advocate Dilip Nirgude, representing the Sopan Nagar, Jejuri and Saswad branches respectively, have invited literary enthusiasts and others to attend the conference. UNI SP CDS
