Pooja Batra, Aditi Govitrikar & Deepak Tijori attend National Yogasana Sports Championship

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) The fifth National Yogasana Sports Championship 2026 brought a touch of glamour to the competitive yoga circuit, with actors Pooja Batra and Deepak Tijori, along with actor-doctor Aditi Govitrikar, attending the event.
The championship emphasised the importance of fitness, discipline and a balanced lifestyle, with yogasana gaining recognition as a competitive sport.
Pooja Batra said that yoga is not just exercise for her, but a way to maintain balance in life and stay connected with oneself.
Govitrikar said that yoga works on all three levels: body, breath, and mind. It is positive that the younger generation is taking yoga seriously, as a sport, and such habits can last a lifetime.
At the same time, Tijori, while praising the enthusiasm and discipline of the participants, said that along with physical strength and flexibility, Yogasana also teaches patience, concentration and continuous hard work.
