Punjab: BRICS CCI Chandigarh welcomes launch of 'Fast Track Punjab Portal'

Chandigarh, June 10 (UNI) Deepak Shukla, President of the Chandigarh Chapter of BRICS CCI (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), on Tuesday welcomed the launch of the 'Fast Track Punjab Portal' by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, aimed at accelerating industrial investment and providing seamless facilities to investors in the state.
While appreciating the initiative, Shukla also urged the Punjab government to address the challenges faced by existing industries in the state with the same fast-track approach. He emphasised that industries worth billions from BRICS nations could potentially be brought into Punjab, and discussions in this regard are already underway.
However, he added that the state government must create a truly fast-track environment not just for new industries, but for existing ones as well, to make this vision a reality. UNI GS SSP
