Chandigarh, Apr 11 (UNI) In two separate operations, the Border Security Force (BSF) recovered three packets of heroin delivered by a Pakistani drone, and apprehended two Indian drug smugglers with drug money.
The BSF spokesman said here today that in the first incident, BSF troops intercepted the movement of a drone and subsequently recovered three packets of heroin weighing 1.6 kg near village Hashimpura, district Amritsar. An iron hook attached to the consignment indicates that it was delivered by a Pakistani drone.
In the second incident, based on a specific input from the BSF Intelligence Wing, BSF troops apprehended two Indian smugglers with drug money of Rs 1 lakh near village Bhaini Rajputana, of district Amritsar. The smugglers were found in possession of two mobile phones and one motorcycle.
