Rahul Gandhi ‘created hallucination’ of being in Parliament of his choice, says BJP

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) The BJP on Saturday slammed the Congress over its ‘mock Parliament,’ with party spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi accusing the opposition party of “attempting to create chaos in the country” and Rahul Gandhi of “creating a hallucination” of being in Parliament of his choice, “After repeatedly failing to create anarchy in India, the Congress, merely to provide solace to the sentiments of its maverick prince Rahul Gandhi is now creating a hallucination that he is in the Parliament of his own choice by holding a mock Parliament,” Trivedi told media persons.
Trivedi also accused the Opposition of “acting out of frustration” after “repeatedly being rejected by the people” while the BJP is working to remove poverty and cited the latest World Bank report noting a sharp decline in extreme poverty rate in India in this regard
The report is the reflection of sustained policy efforts taken by the Narendra Modi government, he said, quoting the World Bank's 2025 report to highlight India's progress in poverty reduction under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
