Rahul Gandhi must clarify whether he agrees with Bora’s statement that youth protest movement is inspired by Bangladesh’s 2024 agitation: Malhotra

New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra has asked Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to immediately clarify whether he agrees with the statement of his new associate Neha Bora that the youth protest movement here is inspired by the 2024 movement in Bangladesh that led to the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina government.
The Delhi BJP chief said that the party consistently maintained that the Congress has lost whatever ideology it once had, while the ideology of parties such as the Aam Aadmi Party, Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Janata Dal has long been inspired by the Communist “Lal Salaam.”
Malhotra alleged that following Bora’s statement, the real face of all opposition parties, which have for some time been providing political encouragement to anti- ‘Akhand Bharat’ youths, has been exposed before the people.
The BJP leader said that the party has consistently maintained that the spectacle being carried out in the name of a youth movement since June is neither about NEET nor the Election Commissioner, and its real motive is to create instability in the country and build an anti-government movement, which he said has been admitted by the Left-affiliated leader.
Meanwhile, responding to Prashant Bhushan’s remarks, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that it was absurd to see him, and actor Prakash Raj, who failed to even save his deposit against the BJP in his own hometown Bengaluru, now dreaming of bringing about a change in government by misleading young people in their 20s and 30s, while opposing both Congress and BJP governments.
He said that a press conference was held today, which was addressed by lawyer Prashant Bhushan and actor Prakash Raj along with Abhijit Deepke and Neha Bora. This press conference has proved that no youth movement for education or employment is underway in the country; rather, there is a clear conspiracy to bring about a change in government, he charged.
