KKR must win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, while RCB, currently second in the points table, will secure their spot in the next round with a victory tonight.

Despite the weather disruption, the stadium’s renowned drainage system is expected to clear the outfield quickly once the rain eases.

The intensity of the rain has lessened, but steady showers persist, keeping ground staff on alert. Preparations to get the match underway remain on standby.

Commentators Ian Bishop and Aaron Finch assessed the pitch earlier, noting a dry, well-sealed surface with minimal moisture.
