PDA Rath is a symbol of Kurukhetra of Mahabharat : Akhilesh Yadav

Rae Bareli, Sep 24 (UNI) Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday asserted that the party-led PDA (OBC, Dalit Minorities) Rath is not just a chariot but a symbol of Kurukshetra in the Mahabharata.
Adddressing a public rally here after launching his election campaign in UP by travelling on the PDA Rath from Lucknow, he said, "This time the public has understood the truth. The chariot is a symbol of Kurukshetra in our culture. Even God once delivered the Gita on a chariot like this. Today, we are learning from that same chariot. Those who are suffering are the PDA. Those who are sad are the PDA. Those who are being insulted are the PDA."
The SP president said, "This time the line has been drawn completely. On one side are the victims and on the other side are the oppressors. The oppressors will not be spared. We defeated them in 2024 and will wipe them out in 2027. It is a thousand-year-old battle with us. They have created a divide. We will not only defeat them but also end discrimination in society. These are the people who get the temple washed with Ganga water when someone from the PDA community visits the temple. These are the people who, when they sit on the chair, resort to insulting acts. This time the PDA people have made their strength and numbers felt," and added, "We will not back down."

Akhilesh said, " When the vote is cast, no matter how much force they exert, these PDA members will work together to defeat them. Now, PDA members are not weak and vulnerable, but stand to protect the Constitution. The PDA members stand to protect reservations and democracy. They stand to protect the nation's culture and India."
Aiming at the BJP, he said, "This time the election has become Lodhi versus Yogi. The bulldozer of votes will destroy them."
"This isn't a fight of today; our fight is thousands of years old. We stand to protect reservations and Hindustaniyat. These people don't follow the Constitution or the law. The BJP members are fake Hindus," he said.
For the first time, two cranes welcomed Akhilesh at his rally, with a 21-kg garland placed on him. After the public meeting, he visited SP MLA Rahul Lodhi at his residence and met Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha workers who clashed with ABVP workers and police on September 17.
Enroute to Rae Bareli, Akhilesh visited a Hanuman temple. Around 2,000-3,000 workers and 200 vehicles also accompanied the chariot. The workers danced to the DJ music and chanted slogans as they walked alongside. The Rath Yatra caused a traffic jam on the Lucknow-Rae Bareli highway, in which the convoy of Dinesh Singh, a minister in the Yogi government, got trapped.
