Rajbhar targets Akhilesh Yadav, says ‘stop raising Rahul Gandhi’s flag’

Lucknow, Nov 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president Om Prakash Rajbhar launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, questioning his political stance and alleging that he is playing politics out of fear of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
In a social media post on Monday, Rajbhar urged Akhilesh to stop what he described as submissive politics and assert his independent political position.
“Akhilesh Yadav ji, how long will you continue to play politics in fear? Stop being afraid of your elder brother (Rahul Gandhi). This is the right time. At least stop raising Badke Bhaiya’s flag,” Rajbhar said.
Taking a sarcastic dig at the Congress leadership, Rajbhar claimed that after addressing a rally, "Badke Bhaiya (Rahul Gandhi) would leave for Thailand, Vietnam or Mongolia, while Akhilesh Yadav would be left negotiating seat-sharing arrangements with Swami Prasad Maurya."
Rajbhar said, "Akhilesh Yadav ji, it seems you understood what I said in the morning and evening. How long will you continue to play politics in a subdued manner? Now you should stop being afraid of your elder brother( Rahul Gandhi). This is the time, the right time." At least stop raising Badke Bhaiya's flag.
Rajbhar also targeted Maurya, alleging that despite receiving respect from Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party leader had been subjected to humiliation. He questioned Maurya’s political position and his association with Rahul Gandhi.
The SBSP chief further claimed that Akhilesh Yadav's political stature is declining and that party workers have expected a major political breakthrough from their leader, but were disappointed.
Advising the Samajwadi Party chief to clarify his political position, Rajbhar said Akhilesh should either make his stand clear or continue making trips to Delhi.
Rajbhar's remarks have added another dimension to the political sparring in Uttar Pradesh, particularly over the opposition alliance, leadership equations and seat-sharing arrangements ahead of future electoral battles.
