Rajiv Gandhi promoted justice, equality: Yadav

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Delhi Congress chief Devendra Yadav on Wednesday said that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's visionary leadership had laid the foundation of a nation based on justice, liberty, equality and fraternity, as a result of which the country is setting new records of development.

Yadav further said that the former Prime Minister had an unforgettable contribution to the making of modern India. "His vision, science, technology and youth empowerment drive us today and his enduring legacy continues to guide us," he said.



He said it was because of Rajiv Gandhi's visionary vision for telecommunications that India is today the leading provider of AI globally.



The former Prime Minister had said that education is a weapon which can bring the social order of thousands of years to par.

Yadav paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi at a meeting held at the state office on the occasion of his 34th death anniversary. Earlier, he visited Veer Bhoomi and paid homage to Gandhi.
