Ramnagari to light up with ‘Green Fireworks’ on 10th Deepotsav

Ayodhya, Nov 2 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to make the 10th Deepotsav completely environment-friendly this year as well. Ayodhya will light up with ‘green fireworks’ during Deepotsav.
A ‘Green Sun’ will blossom above the Saryu River, and the divine city will be bathed in clean light instead of smoke. Prioritizing cleanliness alongside grandeur, Yogi Adityanath has introduced the mantra of an ‘Eco-Deepotsav’.

The biggest attraction of Deepotsav-2026 will be the aerial ‘Green Sun’. According to a representative of E Factor Experiences Limited, this will be a fireworks display without toxic smoke or ear-piercing noise. Created with green fireworks made from environmentally friendly chemical compositions, the sun will create a divine spectacle in the sky through a blend of golden and green light.

Waves of every color will flow over the Saryu, as if the light of devotion is spreading in every direction. Devotees will be overwhelmed by this unique sight.

The technology behind green firecrackers blends science and devotion. With the support of environmental experts and scientists, all fireworks for Deepotsav are being prepared using ‘green technology’. Instead of traditional elements such as barium nitrate, aluminum, and strontium, manufacturers are using compounds that generate less carbon and smoke.

This will not only reduce air pollution but also make the festival of faith more environmentally friendly.

Three hydras will be deployed above the Saryu Bridge, through which a platform will be created at a height of 80 feet. Fireworks will also be launched from here.

Devotees will enjoy chakri, reverse firing, aerial fireworks, rockets, whistle crackers, and various tricolor and rainbow displays. The entire event is being organized keeping both grandeur and safety in mind.
