Renault begins Duster strong hybrid deliveries, opens new showroom in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI) Renault India on Friday commenced customer deliveries of its new Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 SUV and inaugurated its largest showroom in Hyderabad at HITEC City.
The first delivery of the vehicle took place at the newly opened showroom, with Renault Group India Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Francisco Hidalgo handing over the keys to T Krishna Gopal, CEO of Eduzi Academy.
Hyderabad has emerged as one of the leading markets for bookings of the newly launched hybrid SUV, reflecting growing consumer interest in advanced mobility solutions, the company said in a release.
Speaking on the occasion, Hidalgo said the company had fulfilled its target of introducing the hybrid model within a year and commencing deliveries during the festive season. The response since its launch indicated growing acceptance of hybrid technology in India, he added.
The Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 was launched in India on October 17 at an introductory price of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is Renault India's first electrified product under its futuREady roadmap.
The new showroom, spread over 7,000 square feet, has a display capacity of eight vehicles and is the company's 30th new'R Store in the country.
The facility marks an expansion of Renault's partnership with VVC Group, which operates three Renault showrooms and two workshops in Hyderabad, the company said.
Renault India plans to upgrade its showrooms in the top 24 cities to the new'R Store format by July 2027.
These cities account for nearly half of the company's sales. Of the 73 showrooms in these markets, 30 have already been upgraded.
