Revanth Reddy to expose Harish Rao’s corruption during Siddipet visit: C Dayakar

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI) TPCC General Secretary Chanagani Dayakar on Friday launched a sharp attack on BRS leaders K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao, alleging that they were indulging in political theatrics in the name of farmers to protect their own interests.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Dayakar said the political tactics of Harish Rao would not work under the Congress government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He claimed that the Chief Minister's proposed visit to Siddipet would expose Harish Rao's alleged corruption before the people of Telangana.
He alleged that Harish Rao was pursuing his personal agenda rather than the party's interests and claimed that BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao had not granted him an appointment for the past six months.
Accusing KTR and Harish Rao of using the proposed 'Rythu Garjana' programme to regain political dominance, Dayakar alleged that the BRS leaders were attempting to mislead farmers once again. He said they had no moral right to portray themselves as champions of farmers after allegedly causing hardship to the farming community.
He further accused the BRS leaders of making baseless corruption allegations against the Congress government to divert attention from their own alleged irregularities, particularly in connection with the Kaleshwaram project.
Dayakar said the Revanth Reddy government had extended support to Telangana movement activists and was committed to providing housing under the Indiramma scheme. He also alleged that the BJP was shielding BRS leaders facing corruption allegations and claimed that the two parties were working together for mutual political benefit in the graduate constituency elections.
Expressing confidence in the Congress party's prospects in the graduate constituency elections, he said people would continue to support the Congress, which, according to him, stood by farmers and women.
He warned KTR and Harish Rao to stop what he described as political dramas and misleading statements.
