Sahil Wakode Death: Father Begins Sit-In At Azad Maidan, Seeks Action Against Those Responsible

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Ravindra Wakode, father of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode, who allegedly died by suicide on September 18, began a sit-in protest at Azad Maidan here on Monday, demanding action against those he holds responsible for his son's death.
Wakode has said he will continue his protest until his son gets justice and action is taken against those named in the case.
Sahil, a second-year BTech student at IIT Bombay, was found dead in his hostel room on September 18, hours after he was allegedly found using a mobile phone during a mid-semester examination. His family has alleged that he faced caste-based discrimination and harassment at the institute.
