Saudi Interior Minister hosts annual Hajj Security Forces ceremony

Mumbai, June 4 (UNI) His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, presided over the Ministry of Interior’s annual ceremony honouring the security forces deployed for the Hajj season.
The Saudi Public Relations Agency in Mumbai released details of the event on Wednesday.
The ceremony featured a grand military parade that highlighted the vital contributions of various security sectors involved in the pilgrimage. Attendees witnessed simulations of multiple security scenarios, alongside displays of aerial security units, specialised vehicles and cutting-edge equipment employed during the Hajj.
Lieutenant General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, underscored in his address that the Kingdom’s wise leadership has devoted all necessary resources to serving the Hajj and safeguarding the pilgrims, making it a paramount priority.
He praised the exceptional outcomes achieved through meticulous crowd management and enhanced
coordination, planning and cooperation among different agencies. These efforts have ensured the successful execution of security objectives, providing the guests of the Two Holy Mosques with the highest standards of safety and protection.
