Seethakka praises academic excellence of Tribal students

Hyderabad, May 21 (UNI) The Academic Success Meet 2025 was held at Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan in Banjara Hills under the aegis of the Tribal Welfare Department on Wednesday.
The event celebrated the academic achievements of tribal students from various educational institutions who excelled in the 10th standard, Intermediate, EAMCET, and JEE Mains examinations.
Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka was the chief guest at the ceremony. She felicitated the high-performing students and congratulated the dedicated teaching staff for their unwavering support in helping tribal students outperform even their peers from private institutions.
In her address, Minister Seethakka emphasised the transformative power of education. “For a long time, tribal communities were held back due to a lack of access to quality education. We were unfairly branded and pushed to the margins. But today, tribal students are standing shoulder to shoulder with others, proving their excellence,” she said.
She lauded the efforts of teachers who went the extra mile to ensure students achieved top marks, calling their dedication pivotal to this success. As a token of appreciation, students from the Tribal Gurukula Fine Arts College presented the Minister with a saree featuring traditional tribal artwork.
The event concluded with Minister Seethakka and other dignitaries sharing a festive lunch with the state rankers, marking a moment of pride and unity.
