By Tridib Baparnash Guwahati, Oct 6 (UNI) India’s World Cup-winning captain Harmanpreet Kaur has stepped down from the leadership role across all three formats, saying she has fulfilled her responsibilities as captain and is now “ready to play for the love of the game again.” Hours after her announcement, the BCCI has appointed Smriti Mandhana as the new skipper of the Indian women’s team.
