Washington, Oct 8 (UNI) The Trump administration on Thursday suspended several major technology and IT outsourcing companies from the US government’s Permanent Labour Certification Programme (PERM), including Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini, accusing the companies of abusing the system to sponsor foreign workers for permanent residency.

Lucknow, Oct 6 (UNI) A major fire broke out at the Tata Projects workers'' colony, located near the Laxman Chowk area, approximately 800 meters from the Choudhary Charan Singh International Airport, at around 6.55 am on Tuesday. According to airport officials, upon receiving the information, the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team responded immediately and dispatched a Domestic Fire Tender (DFT) to the scene.

Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) The Tata Sons board is unlikely to clear a proposal sent by Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata to the board to consider and approve a strategic reorganisation which would take Tata Sons outside the regulatory framework which triggered off the RBI’s directive to list the holding company on the stock exchange, sources said here today.
