Top Bihar Congress leaders discuss Assembly election strategy with Rahul

Patna, Mar 25 (UNI) Top Bihar Congress leaders on Tuesday discussed strategy for the next Assembly polls with the party''s former president Rahul Gandhi.The election is slated for October-November this year.President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Rajesh Kumar, former president of BPCC Akhilesh Prasad Singh, in-charge of party affairs of Bihar Krishna Allaveru and other senior leaders held discussion with Gandhi in New Delhi. During the meeting, strategy was finalised for the next Bihar assembly election.Earlier on Sunday, senior Congress leader Pawan Khera refused to categorically declare when the party would stitch up the alliance with RJD for the next Bihar assembly elections. He had told media persons that reply of such questions would be given at an appropriate time.There is uncertainty on whether Congress will contest together with the RJD in the next assembly elections.
