TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025, raises over Rs 3.40 cr

Bengaluru, Apr 22 (UNI) The 17th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru has once again proven to be more than just a race — it’s a celebration of community spirit, resilience, and generosity.
In a stirring display of unity, over INR 3.40 crores have been raised so far for over 75 NGOs, making this edition one of the most impactful in the event’s storied history.
Organised by Procam International, and powered by aidbees – the social kindness platform, the event saw participation from over 35 companies and 250+ individual fundraisers.

Among them were tech firms like ASM Technologies, which emerged as the highest corporate fundraiser supporting GoSports Foundation, and social leaders like Youth For Seva, working tirelessly to transform education access for underprivileged children.
“This event isn’t just about fitness — it’s about compassion and impact,” said Vivek Singh, Joint MD, Procam International. “Philanthropy is the heart of the TCS World 10K, and this year has been phenomenal.”
Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya will join thousands on race day, lending his support by running alongside participants to promote social causes. “This is more than a run — it’s a city coming together to support what matters,” he said.
Among the youngest heroes is nine-year-old Naysa Bhattacharjee, who along with Tia Bali raised Rs. 7 lakhs for the Neonates Foundation of India. Naysa, herself a NICU survivor, passionately advocates for neonatal care: “I don’t feel different, I feel unique,” she said. “Every baby deserves a chance.”
Long-distance runner Sudhir Shetty is another standout, raising funds for the Veer Ratna Foundation to support Veer Naris — the widows of martyred soldiers. “Every rupee enables them to live with dignity,” he shared.
The event has also seen remarkable grassroots involvement, with thousands from running groups like Jayanagar Jaguars contributing to causes such as women’s sports, environmental protection, and child welfare.
With the race set for April 27, organisers expect donations to continue rising. As Zamrooda Khanday, CEO of aidbees, put it: “This city has once again shown that when it comes to giving back, Bengaluru leads the way.”
