Telangana Cabinet to discuss key issues on June 5

Hyderabad, Jun 1 (UNI) The Telangana Cabinet will meet on June 5 to discuss key issues, including employees' issues and beneficiaries of the Rajiv Youth Development programme.
This was decided in a meeting with the Ministers by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at the Integrated Command Control Center here on Sunday.
The meeting focused on the Ministers' reports regarding state formation celebrations, Indiramma houses, revenue conferences, preparations for monsoon crop cultivation, and the Rajiv Youth Development program.
On May 29 and 30, Ministers toured the districts and held review meetings with officials focusing on four key issues and prepared detailed district-wise reports -- on the arrangements for the foundation day celebrations (June 2), the final lists of beneficiaries for Indiramma houses, and the organization of revenue conferences.
During the meeting, the Ministers brought to the Chief Minister's attention that the number of applications for the Rajiv Youth Development program exceeded expectations, and there were widespread complaints about ineligible applicants receiving benefits.
Considering the ongoing screening process for the large number of applications received, it was decided that the final lists of eligible candidates would be announced only after a thorough review, the CM said in the meeting.
Deciding to conduct a deeper analysis to identify the beneficiaries, Revanth emphasized that not a single ineligible person should benefit from the Rajiv Yuva Vikas program.
The matter is scheduled to be discussed and decided upon in the cabinet. Officials have already submitted a report to Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka regarding the committee appointed to address employee issues.
The Deputy Chief Minister explained the report to the Chief Minister.
The cabinet is scheduled to discuss the report and decide on how to proceed with resolving the issues.
The Ministers appreciated Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy for taking effective measures to efficiently manage the grain procurement process.
