Third accused arrested in Rs 1.93 lakh online fraud case in Nuh

Nuh, Oct 21 (UNI) Nuh police have arrested a third accused in an online fraud case from Morena in Madhya Pradesh.
A district resident was allegedly defrauded of about Rs 1.93 lakh in , a police spokesperson said on Wednesday. The case was registered at the cybercrime police station following a complaint by Mohammad Javed, a resident of Indana, who reported being cheated of the money on August 20.
Police had earlier arrested Sumit Rathore from Morena on October 9 and Anand Rathore from Delhi on October 19, the spokesperson said.
The accused, identified as Manish Panvaiya of Angad Nagar, Uttampura, Morena, was arrested on October 20. He was produced before a court on Wednesday and remanded in judicial custody.
“Efforts are underway to identify and arrest others involved in the case,” the spokesperson said.
The arrests were made as part of an ongoing drive against cybercrime under Superintendent of Police Arpit Jain. The spokesperson said police teams were continuing operations to track down those involved in the online fraud. UNI KK CDS
