Thunderstorm with lightning & strong winds likely in Telangana in next 5 days: Met

Hyderabad, June 29 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that strong surface winds with speeds ranging from 30-40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of the state.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places or at a few places over Telangana during the next seven days.

Southwest monsoon has been weak over Telangana.


Rain occurred at one or two places over the state during the last 24 hours, the report added.
