Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds likely in Telangana on Nov 1–2: Met Dept

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30–40 kmph are likely at isolated places in Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda and Jangaon districts of Telangana on November 1, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said similar conditions were likely on November 2 in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at isolated places across Telangana during the next seven days.
Rain occurred at a few places in the State during the past 24 hours, the report added.
