TRS Chief Kavitha vows to fight for ‘Bahujan Rajyam’ in Telangana

Vikarabad, Sep 20 (UNI) Telangana Rakshan Sena (TRS) president K Kavitha on Sunday said her party would fight for the rights of youth, farmers and marginalised communities and work towards establishing a “Bahujan Rajyam” in Telangana.
Addressing the Panchajanya Sankalpa Sabha at Kosgi in Kodangal constituency of Vikarabad district, Ms Kavitha said people had not witnessed the expected improvement in employment, education, healthcare and farmers’ welfare despite the formation of Telangana.
She said her proposed political platform was based on five principles and aimed at fighting social injustice and protecting the interests of the Bahujan sections. She promised free education and healthcare, saying the government should bear the entire cost of treatment irrespective of the severity of illness.
Ms Kavitha also promised financial support ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 20 crore for youth based on their business ideas and said every village should have a school with adequate teachers.
On agriculture, she alleged that farmers in Mahabubnagar were facing problems related to irrigation water, urea, power, crop prices and financial support. She claimed that if her party came to power, water would be supplied to 10 lakh acres from Jurala to Ibrahimpatnam. Assembly elections are scheduled in Telengana in 2027.
She also demanded greater political representation for communities including Mudiraj, Muslims, weavers, toddy tappers, Madigas, Malas and Lambadas.
Ms Kavitha criticised the Congress government over what she described as failures in implementing election promises and alleged irregularities in sand, soil and Indiramma housing schemes. She urged people to support her party and said she would fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
