Two killed, 4 injured as auto overturns in Banda

Banda (UP), May 24 (UNI) Two persons, including an old woman, were killed and four others were injured when an auto collided with a dumper parked on the roadside in Tindwari area of Banda district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said here.
Circle Officer (Sadar) Rajveer Singh said that the auto carrying passengers from Banda lost control and collided with the dumper parked on the roadside near Mungus village, in which six passengers were injured. "On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to Tindwari Health Center for treatment, where Kallu (50) and Girja (60) were declared dead," he said.
He said that Shiv Prasad, his son Shri Krishna, Baburam and Vijayiyan were injured in the accident and were referred to Banda District Hospital in serious condition.
