Union Home Minister presents Letters of Allotment to 5 companies

Greater Noida, Sept 25 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 opened on Friday.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Friday presented Letters of Allotment to representatives of five companies investing in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region.
He also interacted with investors and discussed industrial and investment opportunities in the state. A total area of 71,190 square meters has been allotted for these five projects. The companies have proposed a total investment of Rs. 469 crore in these projects, with 4,625 employment opportunities.
Among the companies receiving allotments, C&R Textiles Private Limited has been allotted an area of 16,000 square meters. The company has proposed an investment of Rs. 104 crore, with 2,000 employment opportunities expected to be created. Managing Director Chhatrapati Ranjit Rai received the Letter of Allotment on the company's behalf.
Perfectpack Limited has been allotted 16,200 square meters. The company has proposed an investment of Rs. 125 crore, creating 700 employment opportunities. Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Rajgarhia was present on behalf of the company.
SABS Exports International Private Limited has been allotted 16,180 square meters. The company has proposed an investment of Rs. 87 crore, with 475 employment opportunities. Company Director Chetan Sabharwal received the Letter of Allotment.
Simplast India Private Limited has been allotted 12,000 square meters. The company has proposed an investment of Rs. 78 crore and 300 employment opportunities. Company Director Gaurav Chugh received the Letter of Allotment. Similarly, Sahu Exports Private Limited has been allotted 10,810 square meters. The company has proposed an investment of Rs. 75 crore and 1,150 employment opportunities. Company Director Sanjeev Sahu received the land allotment letter.
Along with presenting the Letters of Allotment, Home Minister Amit Shah also interacted with investors. Discussions focused on expanding industries in Uttar Pradesh, investment opportunities, and accelerating business activities. Presenting the allotment letters, along with the inauguration of UPITS, also conveyed a message of taking investment proposals forward toward implementation on the ground. UNI MBD CDS

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) Veteran socialist leader and former leader of the opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Ram Govind Chaudhary, passed away here on Friday night.
He was around 80 and breathed his last at the SGPGI hospital in Lucknow.
The former UP minister had closely worked with Jayaprakash Narayan and Chandra Shekhar.
