Youth killed in road accident in Nashik

Nashik, June 25 (UNI) A 30-year-old youth on a motorcycle was killed after being run over by a State Road Transport Corporation bus on the Niphad -Pimpalgaon highway at Davachwadi Shivar in Niphad taluka of the district.
According to sources in Pimpalgaon police, the deceased, identified as Santosh Govind Ghorpade (30) from Devpur Panchkeshwar, was on way to Pimpalgaon Baswant on his motorcycle for some work on Tuesday afternoon.
Near Jadhav Lawns in front of Davachwadi, while trying to overtake the ST bus, a four-wheeler which was going at a high speed towards Niphad, hit Santosh's motorcycle and due to its impact, he crashed into the ST bus. Santosh came under the wheels of the ST and died.
Meanwhile, ST bus driver Hemant Achare informed the Pimpalgaon Police Station about the incident.
After that, a police team rushed to the spot and registered an accidental death report in this connection.
