Zee 5 to premiere dark Bengali mini-series 'Bibhishan' on June 27

Mumbai, June 18 (UNI) Produced and directed by Raja Chanda and starring Soham Majumder and Debchandrami Singh Roy in the lead roles, the Bengali mini-series "Bibhishan" will exclusively premiere on ZEE5 on June 27.
ZEE5 is all set to take the audience on a dark and mysterious journey with its latest Bengali Original, 'Bibhishan'.
The show stars Soham Majumder in the role of a police officer Bidhan Sen.
Set against the backdrop of the seemingly peaceful town of Birbhum, Bibhishan follows Sub-Inspector Bidhan Sen (Soham Majumdar), a calm yet razor-sharp officer whose personal life is hanging by a thread, and the professional world is about to spiral into chaos. When a strange thief, a headless corpse, and a brutal murder land on his desk in quick succession, Bidhan and his team are drawn into a dark maze of clues that refuse to line up. With each revelation more unsettling than the last, Bibhishan keeps you wondering: is the real danger outside... or much closer than anyone imagined.
Director Raja Chanda said, "From the first draft to the last frame, directing Bibhishan has been an extremely exciting journey for me. It is a story that starts off quiet but slowly draws you into a world where every character has something to hide. It was a great experience working with ZEE5 on this project – their belief in regional stories and new storytelling helped us bring out this thriller in the form it deserved.
