‘Om Ka Hari’ continues its theatrical run, special screenings planned at 50-plus Army centres

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Harish Vyas' directorial venture "Om Ka Hari" is heading into its second week with screenings continuing across cities, while the father-son dramedy is also set to reach audiences at more than 50 Army centres across the country.
The film has received appreciation from the audience for its brilliant acting, emotional story and portrayal of the father-son relationship. After the first week, the film has been allotted space in 25 theatres for the second week as well. Its shows are continuing in Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
To expand the film's reach, actor-producer Anshuman Jha will embark on a 15-city tour. He will hold special screenings for cinema lovers and his father in cities including Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Patna.
"It's an old-fashioned way of connecting with the audience, not just selling them a film. I want to sit with the audience, watch the film with them, know what they feel, and have a conversation with them," said Jha.
He said the initiative was inspired by Charlie Chaplin's tradition of touring cities with his films. Jha said that through "Om Ka Hari," he wants to spread the film's message to as many people as possible: "We should express our love to our parents while they are still around."
The makers say their focus is on reaching new audiences starting in the second week. Special screenings at Army centres, a 15-city tour, and a consistent presence in theatres are all being used to maintain the film's audience following in the second, third, and fourth weeks.
