Anil Kapoor bows in respect to elderly students, calls their teacher a ‘magician’

Mumbai, Oct 17 (UNI) Actor Anil Kapoor has been moved by the stories of elderly women returning to education on his television show 'India Ke Top 1% – The Anil Kapoor Show' and praised their teacher, Sheetal, as a “magician” for helping them fulfil their long-held childhood dreams.
Sheetal, a contestant from Khangane village in Maharashtra, explained that she teaches at a school for elderly women. Despite the challenges of age, her students are fulfilling their childhood dreams of education.
She explained that despite their memory, vision, and hearing problems, these women enthusiastically study and participate in sports. Their passion for learning moved Anil Kapoor.
Kapoor praised Sheetal's efforts, saying that teaching children is difficult, but teaching the elderly is even more difficult. He called Sheetal a "magician" for giving women the opportunity to relive their childhoods.
During this time, the elderly students invited the "Mr India" actor to visit their school via video message. He responded in Marathi, "Aaji Shikli, Pragati Jhali," meaning, "If the grandmother studied, the path to progress was open." Saluting the women's spirit, the 69-year-old actor bowed before their photo and touched their feet in the photo to express his respect.
"India Ke Top 1% – The Anil Kapoor Show" airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Star Plus. It can also be viewed on JioHotstar. UNI NST CDS
