Bandi Sanjay questions Cong leaders’ visit to KCR farmhouse

Karimnagar, Sep 20 (UNI) Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday questioned the authority of Congress leaders to enter the private lands of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), terming their visit to his farmhouse a “political drama.”
Speaking to the media in Karimnagar, Sanjay said that if any government land existed within the farmhouse premises, the government should take immediate possession of it instead of staging political visits.
He demanded that the Congress government make public documentary evidence if it had proof of alleged Rs 1 lakh crore land grabbing by the KCR family and BRS leaders.
He also alleged that the Congress approached the Supreme Court over the Khairatabad disqualification case due to fear of facing a by-election and claimed that the contest would be between the BJP and BRS.
On local development, Mr Sanjay said one tricycle would be provided to municipal sanitation workers in each division for garbage collection.
He said fogging machines, additional tractors and waste-management projects would be taken up, including Rs 17 crore bio-mining works and projects worth Rs 80 crore through UCF funds.
He also said the 22A land classification issue was causing hardship to people and warned that the BJP would pursue legal action if it was not resolved.
Regarding Ganesh immersion festivities, Sanjay appealed to people to celebrate peacefully and cooperate with the police and assured that issues involving officials would be taken up with the municipal authorities. UNI VV SAS
