Gaurav Verma reveals reason behind seven songs in 'Prem Keetanu'

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) Producer Gaurav Verma today said the seven-song album of "Prem Keetanu" was planned from the outset, with music serving as an important part of the film’s storytelling and emotional arc.
He believed that music is an effective medium to convey the emotions of the story and characters to the audience.
Verma said that "Prem Keetanu" is the story of young people moving from a small town to a big city to pursue education and an independent life. The film depicts experiences such as friendship, first love, unrequited love and heartbreak. He said that work on the music began simultaneously with the film's script.
According to him, music has been an important part of people's lives, and audiences' first connection to films often comes through the films' songs.
He explained that the film features several new and lesser-known actors. Therefore, the music will serve as a means for them to establish their identity with the audience. He added that the film's songs are not just for entertainment but also play an important role in advancing the story and expressing the characters' emotions.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, "Prem Keetanu" is produced under the banner of Avnika Films. The film stars Veer Pahariya, Aafiya Syed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in lead roles.
The film will be released worldwide in theatres on October 2. UNI NST SS
