Haryana Staff Selection Commission speeds up CET-II preparations for 14,000 posts

Panchkula, Oct 29 (UNI) The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has stepped up preparations for the Common Entrance Test (CET) Stage-II examination for recruitment to about 14,000 posts and plans to advertise another 8,000 vacancies soon, commission chairman Himmat Singh said.
The commission has begun inspecting examination centres, although its statement did not specify an examination date or a date for issuing the fresh recruitment advertisement.
Commission member Subhash Chandra and his team inspected centres in the Kalka-Pinjore area of Panchkula district on October 28, reviewing facilities and arrangements for candidates.
Singh said the recruitment and examination process was being conducted “in an organised and transparent manner”, in accordance with prescribed rules.
The inspections are intended to identify the arrangements required before the examination and ensure candidates do not face inconvenience, he said. Other centres in Panchkula and across the state will also be inspected.
The inspection committee will submit a report, on the basis of which the commission will take further steps to complete the examination arrangements and advance the recruitment process.
Singh urged candidates to prepare seriously and follow official recruitment and examination announcements. He advised them against relying on rumours, saying further information would be released through the commission’s official channels.
