Opposition, CJP trying to turn Delhi into arena; let it be known, Delhi will not be held hostage: CM

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) Chief Minister Rekha Gupta asserted on Saturday that Delhi will not be held hostage by certain forces trying to spread anarchy under the guise of democracy and challenging the people's mandate that they have already given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third time.
In her reaction over the present situation in the national capital over the agitations, Rekha Gupta said that rejected by the citizens of the country, leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, along with their B-team CJP, are trying to turn the national capital into an arena.
Sharply hitting out at the opposition leaders, she questioned as to why were they hell-bent on taking out their frustration of non-stop defeats on the general public. CM Gupta asked the opposition leaders as to what was the fault of Delhi’s residents who are being troubled by the chaos being made on the city’s streets.
CM, taking to social media platform X, CM questioned as to who will take responsibility for the hardships faced by office-going employees, daily-wage laborers who earn a living for their families, and patients trying to reach the hospital. She further asked whether oppositions’ political ambitions were bigger than the livelihood, safety, and peace of lakhs of families in the national capital.
Gupta said that the people had voted for development, and it was due to the unprecedented blessings of the public, Narendra Modi became the leader to serve as Prime Minister for a third consecutive term.
Gupta asserted that there will be a resolute fight against the politics of spreading anarchy.
Sharpening her attack, Gupta said that parties plagued by dynastic politics and opportunism are simply unable to digest this public support for PM Modi. Hitting out at Kejriwal, she alleged that he was now attempting to disrupt the peace and security of Delhiites for his political self-interest. UNI APS CDS
