Yami Gautam describes husband Aditya Dhar as calm and non-dramatic in real life

Mumbai, Oct 15 (UNI) Actor Yami Gautam has said her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, is a quiet and composed person in real life, far removed from the dramatic romantic gestures often seen in films.
In the upcoming episode of Sony Marathi's show "Kon Honar Crorepati", Yami will share interesting anecdotes from their love story in conversation with actress Madhuri Dixit during the promotion of her film "Nayyi Navelli".
In this episode, Gautam and actor Adinath Kothare will be seen in the hot seat opposite Dixit. During this, Yami will share how the love stories depicted in Dixit's films have influenced her perspective on love.
Recalling the love stories in Dixit's films, the 37-year-old actress says, "Watching your films, we always thought that if there is a love story, it should be like this. Every girl dreams of a moment like this, where she feels like, 'Turn, turn!' But in real life, Aditya and I have one thing in common. We're both very open and completely non-dramatic people."
She revealed that they first met on the set of the film "Uri." Dhar was directing the film at the time, and Yami was acting in it. They didn't interact much during filming, but they got to know each other better while giving interviews together during the film's promotion.
According to Gautam, during their conversation, she realised they shared similar views on life, family, and values. She really liked Dhar's calm nature, respect for everyone, and passion for his work.
The "Haq" actress said, “We first met on the set of 'Uri'. We didn't talk much during the shoot. But during promotions, when we gave interviews together, we listened to each other's answers. That's when I realized that his principles and family values were similar to mine. I really liked this about Aditya. On set, I had already seen the kind of person he was. People like him are rare. He never got angry at anyone, respected everyone, and was extremely passionate about his work. He was also very calm and composed.”
Dixit smiled and replied, "Just like you." Yami said of her partner, "It's a great thing to have a partner like him. I'm so lucky to have Aditya as my husband."
This special episode of "Kon Honar Crorepati" airs Monday to Saturday at 9 pm on Sony Marathi. Viewers can also watch it on Sony Liv. UNI NST CDS
