'Akhand Path' of Ramcharitmanas in temples to mark Ram Navami from Saturday

Lucknow, Apr 4 (UNI) Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Jaiveer Singh on Friday said that on the auspicious occasion of Ashtami and Ram Navami, Akhand Paath of Ramcharitmanas will be done on April 5 and 6 in major Shaktipeeths and temples across Uttar Pradesh.
The Minister said that on the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath the Paath will be done by selected Bhajan Mandalis, for which they will be given an honorarium of Rs 5,000.
Singh said that this time the participation of women and girls will be ensured. "Keeping in mind the safety of women in Devi temples and Shakti Peethas, special campaigns will also be conducted to promote the schemes of the government," he said.
