"CM face of GA was clear in last meeting itself": Tejaswi

Patna, Apr 24 (UNI) RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav in his ample indications on Chief Minister face of the Grand Alliance (GA) for Bihar assembly elections, said that this was clear in the last meeting of the alliance itself.
The meeting of the GA held here on Thursday at Sadaquat Ashram, Congress headquarter was attended by Yadav, Congress state in-charge Krishna Allavaru and state president Rajesh Ram, VIP chief Mukesh Sahni and leaders of the three Left parties CPI, CPM and CPI ML were present.
In a joint press conference of the alliance, Yadav said that the CM issue was clear in the last meeting itself.
When the media persons insisted on a reply to the issue, he said that there is no need to ask any questions on the CM face of GA as it would be revealed at an appropriate time.
In a satirical vein, Yadav said that this question must be asked for the NDA because Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is CM face of the NDA only till the elections, whereas in the GA the name decided before elections would continue even after the elections.
As it is RJD, the major constituent unit of the GA, has already declared Tejaswi Yadav as CM face, however, the Congress was yet to officially agree upon it. Allavaru on several occasions have been found avoiding the issue.
Tejaswi Yadav who was made president of the coordination committee of the GA during the meeting held on April 17, told news persons that it has been decided to constitute some more committees.
He said that a joint meeting has been convened of the district presidents, MPs, MLAs and MLCs of the constituent units of the GA on May four.
Giving details of the agenda decided during the meeting, Yadav said that the entire opposition parties and that nation was united on the issue of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and wish to give a befitting reply to those terrorists.
He, however, asked the Union government to disclose how such a major attack was possible?
Yadav said that the Pahalgam attack raises questions on the intelligence system. How did the terrorists cross the border, entered Kashmir and killed civilians?
He also raised questions on the Nitish government of Bihar, saying that after the Pahalgam attack, the state government did not take any steps to safely bring back the people of Bihar from Jammu and Kashmir.
He said GA will take out a candle march in Patna on Friday to commemorate the Pahalgam terror attack and to pay tribute to the civilians who died in the terror attack.
