'Stranger Things' actor Finn Wolfhard says he has mixed feelings about his character in upcoming finale

Los Angeles, Apr 13 (UNI) ‘Stranger Things’ actor Finn Wolfhard, teasing about the show’s upcoming final season, has said he has mixed feelings over the conclusion of his character’s storyline.

The 22-year-old, who plays one of the show’s lead characters Mike Wheeler, teasing his character’s fate in the finale told People: "I was so happy with his ending, and I don't know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy."

"I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect," he continued.

Wolfhard, who has been playing the character in Netflix’s highly-acclaimed horror-sci-thriller series since 2016, has since then gone on to act in various other projects such as ‘The Addams Family’, ‘The Turning’, ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, ‘Ghostbuster: Frozen Empire’, and the Oscar-winning film ‘Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio’.

Recalling the emotions he felt while filming his last scene for the final season of 'Stranger Things', Wolfhard said "I just couldn't believe it at all."

"It didn't really start to go into focus until the next day. It was like an emotional hangover," he continued. "But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone."

"The cast all stayed for the last day, we were all there together. It was really great to be around each other,” he added.

Reflecting on his life ever since he first starred in the show which soon became a massive success overnight, he said: "I don't think I'd ever go back and do something over, but maybe I would go back to when the show first came out and blew up, and I would directly put myself into therapy."

"But it was so crazy and overnight, that there was not really any time to think about that," he added.

The actor, whose upcoming feature, ‘The Legend of Ochi,’ will hit theaters on April 25 — stated that making mistakes and learning from them, is all a part of being human. "I would end up probably making a mistake in a different way anyways," he said. "I think childhood, and life in general, is about trial and error."

The final chapter of ‘Stranger Things’ will conclude sometime later in 2025.
