22 students expelled from Tanda Medical College for ragging and other activities

Kàngra, Apr 2 (UNI) Twenty-two medical students and interns were expelled from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Govt. Medical College at Tanda for allegedly being involved in ragging of their juniors and indulging in indisciplinary activities during the last one year..
Dr. Munish Saroch member secretary Anti Ragging Committee of the college disclosed this today while addressing the students of the college in Shoba Singh Auditorium.
Following this big number of expulsions of the medical students a sensitisation workshop on anti ragging and drug substance abuse for students of PG, MBBS, Bsc, paramedical, and nursing was conducted on Wednesday in college auditorium and was attended by over 600 students of various courses. They were sensitised on menace of substance abuse and Ragging as well as the strict stance of college administration in these matters.
Workshop was addressed by the Principal Dr RPGMC Tanda, Prof Milap sharma, member secretary of anti ragging committee Prof Munish Saroch, HOD psychiatry Prof Sukhjit Singh and TAMCOT General secretary Dr Pradeep Attri and other members of anti ragging committee.
