One killed, dozen injured as tractor trolley overturns

Bahraich (UP), Apr 3 (UNI) One person was killed, and more than a dozen others were injured after a tractor-trolley carrying devotees overturned in Dargah area of Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police said here.
Police sources said that devotees from Gilaula area of Shravasti district were coming on a tractor trolley to Chakia Samay Mata temple located in Risiya area of Bahraich on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri.
"The accident happened when the tractor-trolley reached near Parsaura village under Dargah police station area and overturned," they said.
Police sources said that 30 to 40 devotees were travelling on the tractor-trolley at the time of the accident.
"The deceased has been identified as Vidhi Yadav. A devotee Manju said that Pramod Yadav, Abhishek Yadav, Meena, Kunal, Rajan, Raghu and many others have been injured in this accident," they said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Shamsher Bahadur Singh said that all the injured have been admitted to the hospital for first aid, where their condition is said to be normal.
"Police are investigating the matter," he added.
