Srinagar, Mar 15 (UNI) At least half a dozen cars were damaged when a portion of the boundary wall at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital in old Srinagar collapsed on Saturday, officials said.
The incident occurred due to incessant rains lashing the region, weakening the wall and causing it to cave in.
“Fortunately, no injuries were reported when the section of the wall collapsed,” officials said.
The ongoing wet spell from the last four days in Kashmir has led to waterlogging in several areas, with intermittent rainfall affecting normal life.
