Ahmedabad conference rekindles Congress' hopes to power in Gujarat: AICC observer

Shimla, Apr 14 (UNI) The Ahmedabad convention of the Indian National Congress has given a new lease of life and direction to the party, with a renewed focus on grassroots mobilization and justice-oriented politics, said Theog MLA and All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore on Monday.
Addressing a press conference here, Rathore, who has recently been appointed AICC observer for Gujarat, declared that the convention had infused new enthusiasm among party workers and created a war cry against the ruling BJP that would soon echo across the country.
Calling the Ahmedabad convention a grand success, he emphasized that the Congress has chosen the path of justice to confront the pressing issues of unemployment, inflation, and social injustice under the current regime.
“This is not just a political fight, but a battle for justice. The leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi has provided a clear roadmap — to strengthen the party from the grassroots up,” Rathore asserted.
He revealed that the Congress is working diligently to rebuild its organizational structure, starting from the booth level up to the district level.
He claimed that the Congress is poised to return to power in Gujarat, riding on the momentum of the Ahmedabad convention.
