AP: 75.67 percent qualify in AP EAP CET-2025: JNTUK VC

Kakinada, June 8 (UNI) JNTUK vice chancellor CSRK Prasad who is also the chairman of the AP EAP CET-2025 (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy common entrance test), has released the online exam results along with the convenor Prof VV Subbarao in presence of officials here on Sunday.
The Vice chancellor said that as against a total of 3,62,448 candidates applied for the online exam, 3,40,300 attended the exam conducted all over the state besides two centers in Hyderabad .
A total of 2,57,509 candidates qualified in the exam thus registering a pass percentage of 75.67 percent .
Their rank cards will be uploaded into the EAP CET website’ he added.
The vice chancellor further said that the AP EAP CET results could be seen in the EAP CET website https;//cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and also in `Mana mithra’ whatsapp governance ` 9552300009 phone number. He expressed his happiness over releasing the results within 12 days of holding the exams.
The vice chancellor has thanked the state government, state council for higher education officials for entrusting the job of conducting the EAP CET to JNTUK .
He also thanked all the district officials, university officials, special observers for their cooperation in conducting the exam, and subject experts for setting the error free question papers .
Giving out the details of agriculture and pharmacy streams he said the exams were conducted in four sessions from May 19 and 20 .
Of the 75,460 students attending 67,761 have qualified, registering 89.80 pass percent.
For the engineering stream the exams were held in ten sessions from May 21 to 27 and as against 2,64,840 candidates appeared ,189,748 have qualified registering 71.65 pass percentage ,he added.
` Due to typographical mistakes, the options of two questions were changed.
Similarly two malpractice cases were reported and a committee was constituted for further action.
The results of the students involved in the malpractice were being withheld’ he added.
JNTUK incharge Registrar Prof V Ravindranath, OSD Prof D Kotesweraro, convenor Prof VV Subbarao, co-convenors Prof K Ramu, Prof N.Sumathi, coordinators Dr S Chandrasekhar , Dr V Jayaprasad, Dr Usha Devi and Dr Dilipkumar were among those attended.
