AP: Ministers pay homage to Pahalgam victim Madhusudhan Rao

Nellore, AP, Apr 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan flanked by Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav paid homage to Somishetti Madhusudhan Rao who was killed in the terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir.
The mortal remains of Madhusudan Rao were brought to his native town Kavali of the district on Thursday.
Ministers Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, Satya Kumar Yadav, Aanam Ramnarayan Reddy, MLAs Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and D Venkata Krishna Reddy paid rich homage to slain Madhusudhan Rao.
Pawan Kalyan consoled the bereaved family members and assured them of extending all support. A pall of gloom descended on the area with grieving family members.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan vehemently condemned the terror attack. He said that he understood the agony and pain of the bereaved family members.
Extending support is more important than announcing compensation now, he felt.
“India will not forget the barbaric act. The terrorists behaved cruelly and it’s time to eliminate them wherever they are,” Pawan Kalyan stated.
He asserted that he knew the situation of Kashmir as he used to go there for cinema shootings between 1986 and 1989.
“The incident of the terror attack in Pahalgam is proof that if bullets are fired in Kashmir, the impact is felt all over the country. They killed him after asking him which religion he belonged to,” he lashed out. Pawan Kalyan opined that Indians have more compassion and mercifulness.
Ministers Nadendla Manohar and Satya Kumar carried the coffin of Madhusudhan Rao.
