Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi to address two-day Bharat Summit 2025 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address the Bharat Summit 2025 global conference, being hosted by the party-led Telangana government at the HICC Novotel here from April 25–26.
Marking the 140th anniversary of the Indian National Congress and the 70th year since the historic Bandung Conference, which laid the groundwork for the Non-Aligned Movement, the two-day Bharat Summit will see the participation of over 450 delegates from more than 100 countries, including representatives from nearly 100 progressive political parties, 40 to 50 ministers, and around 50 senators and members of parliament, a release said.
The theme of the Summit, 'Delivering Global Justice'.

The event will also feature prominent global heads of political organizations and renowned sectoral experts.
The first day of Plenary Session on Friday will include the launch of the ‘Hyderabad Declaration’.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and Minister of IT D. Sridhar Babu, will deliver the inaugural welcome remarks on behalf of the Government of Telangana followed by keynote addresses from Lead of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
Addressing the media here on Thursday evening regarding the upcoming Summit, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said: "The Government of Telangana is proud to host the prestigious Bharat Summit 2025, bringing together global thought leaders, policymakers, and progressive voices to our state. At a time when the world is grappling with deep challenges of justice, equity, and democratic values, this summit serves as a timely and vital platform for dialogue and collaboration. Telangana is honored to contribute to shaping a global discourse that upholds the ideals of inclusion, peace, and progress."
The Summit will host an esteemed roster of international dignitaries, including Jorge Taiana, Former Foreign Minister of Argentina; Clara López Obregón, Senator and Former Minister of Labor from Colombia; Emilio Lozada, Head of the Department of International Relations for the Communist Party of Cuba; M. Kula Segaran, Minister of Law from Malaysia; Ann Linde, Former Foreign Minister of Sweden, he said.
Prominent Indian leaders participating across the two days include Digvijaya Singh, Pawan Khera, Supriya Shrinate, T.S. Singh Deo, Salman Khurshid, and Jothimani, among others.
The Bharat Summit 2025 is poised to be a significant platform for shaping a collective vision for a fairer and more inclusive global future, the Dy CM added.
On Day 2 (Saturday), the Summit will conclude with a Valedictory Session, which will include addresses by Priyanka Gandhi and Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal.
