Apollo Tyres appoints Rajeev Kumar Sinha as CMO

Kochi, Apr 2 (UNI) Apollo Tyres Ltd on Wednesday appointed Rajeev Kumar Sinha as the Chief Manufacturing Officer.
He will lead the global manufacturing team, driving the global manufacturing agenda, including strategy and planning, performance optimisation, plant management, integrated manufacturing services (IMS), corporate industrial engineering (IE) and deployment of Advanced Manufacturing Systems, including AI/ML solutions.
Commenting on Sinha’s appointment Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and MD, Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “Rajeev is a Global Manufacturing Leader who comes with over 35-years of rich experience in Operations and Supply Chain domain across diverse industries such as Chemical, FMCG, Foods & Beverages and Pharmaceuticals."
"He will play a critical role not only in our growth journey, but also in maintaining our competitive advantage. He joins us as a key member of the Global Executive Committee.”
Rajeev joins Apollo Tyres Ltd from Cipla where he was the Global Chief Manufacturing Officer, and was also a member of its Management Council and Non-Executive Director in select group companies.
Rajeev has made significant contributions in strengthening Global Operations Excellence through Network Optimisation, embedding a culture of Lean Six Sigma in manufacturing operations and focusing on Manufacturing Science & Technology group to enhance product and process robustness, technical capability, and complex investigations capability.
Rajeev has also worked in the capacity of Executive Vice President and Global Head, Formulation Operations, and Executive Vice President and Global Head, Manufacturing Formulations at Glenmark.
At PepsiCo, he has worked as Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations, Productivity and Performance, and, Director Operations, Productivity and Sustainability, and Director Operations, North Market Unit.
Rajeev will be based out of Apollo Tyres’ corporate headquarters in Gurugram, India and report to Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director.
