Recognizing the significance of May 1, globally celebrated as ‘May Day’, the Governor highlighted the day’s historical roots in the struggle for fair labour practices. “It is a powerful reminder of the need to uphold workers’ rights, ensure fair wages, promote safe working conditions, and eradicate forced labour. Above all, it is a time to honour the dignity of labour,” he stated.

Let us move forward with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas’, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to build a stronger, inclusive, and prosperous India - Viksit Bharat,” the Governor appealed in his message.
