Karimnagar, Mar 23 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, launched a scathing attack on the Congress, BRS, DMK, AAP, and CPI(M), accusing them of staging political drama under the guise of delimitation while being embroiled in liquor scams.
Addressing an event in Karimnagar where TPUS (Telangana Prantha Upadiah Sangam) grandly felicitated BJP MLCs on Sunday, Sanjay alleged that the Stalin-led Tamil Nadu government committed a Rs 1,000 crore liquor scam, similar to those in Kerala, AAP, and BRS-ruled states. He ridiculed the opposition’s demand for a 36 per cent parliamentary share for South India based on GDP contribution, calling it "illogical" and a deliberate attempt to obstruct the delimitation process.
Sanjay lauded TPUS for its nationalist ideology and urged Telangana teachers to rally behind it. Criticising the Congress government, he accused it of failing to fulfill promises, delaying salaries, and neglecting education sector reforms. He also slammed the KCR-led BRS for sinking Telangana into debt, alleging past involvement in counterfeit currency scams.
On the state’s ongoing crises, he highlighted unfulfilled farmer loan waivers, unpaid welfare scheme dues, and financial struggles of employees and pensioners. Accusing Congress and BRS leaders of prioritising political theatrics over governance, he warned that the public would soon teach them a lesson.
